Introduction

This is one year programme which prepares students to work In various types of kitchens. Emphasis is on Practice supported by theory. Students learn how to plan, cost and prepare a large variety of dishes.

During the course of training, the students undergo extensive practical training at MIT application kitchen. The course also includes compulsory six months workplace learning

Applicants should have Malawi School Certificate of Education with at 3 credits including English for the Diploma Programmes and 2 credits including English for Certificate Programmmes

For Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management, applicants should have work experience of 2 years at supervisory position
