Introduction

The Hospitality industry is a diverse and global sector. It is an umbrella term for a broad range of service industries and on completing this course, students will be able to enter the industry in any hospitality sector , including hotels, restaurants, food service units, private and exclusive catering enterprises, marketing  and promotions enterprises, purchasing  divisions and training facilities.

Aim of the Programme

The programme allows students to develop competence in general hospitality management. The course also prepares leaders in this fast growing industry and focus on the management, customer services and relations, marketing and operational aspects.

Applicants should have Malawi School Certificate of Education with at 3 credits including English for the Diploma Programmes and 2 credits including English for Certificate Programmmes

For Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management, applicants should have work experience of 2 years at supervisory position
