Introduction
Tourism is a multi-faceted industry and large contributor to the economy. Tourism is the study of human beings away from home, and of the industry which responds to their needs, as well as the impact that the industry has on the host’s socio-cultural, economic and ecological environments.
Aim of the Programme
The programme is designed to equip students with the requisite entrepreneurship, marketing and operational skills necessary for travel and tourism management.

Graduands will be trained as travel agents, tour operator’s tour managers, travel consultants, Airline cabin crew, Sales and ticketing agents, Marketing agents, Safari Operators, Tour guide operators, reservation agents

Applicants should have Malawi School Certificate of Education with at 3 credits including English for the Diploma Programmes and 2 credits including English for Certificate Programmmes
For Advanced Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management, applicants should have work experience of 2 years at supervisory position
