Graduation Fees:

  • MK60,000 for Diploma candidates
  • MK50,000 for Certificate candidates

All graduating students, including those in absentia, must pay the graduation fee. The fee must be deposited into the Malawi Institute of Tourism account:

  • Certificate in Front Office and Accommodation Services
  • Certificate in Food and Beverage Service
  • TEVET Levels 1-3 Food Production
  • TEVET Levels 1-2 Tour Guide
  • 3-Months Upgrading Certificate in Professional Cookery, Front Office Operations, Food and Beverage Service, and Accommodation Operations

Important Information:

  1. Students who did not fulfill the requirements to be awarded a Certificate will not be allowed to graduate.
  2. Students with outstanding fees must settle their balances prior to graduation.
  3. Rehearsals will take place on 25th July 2024 from 9:00 AM at Kwacha Events and Leisure Garden.
  4. Deposit slips will be required when collecting gowns. Gowns will be collected and returned on the day of graduation. Delay in returning gowns will attract a fee of MK50,000.
  5. Candidates will be responsible for their travel, upkeep, and accommodation.
  6. Only official photographers will be allowed to take pictures on the graduation premises.
