The Malawi Institute of Tourism, with financial support from the International Labour Organization, is proud to introduce the ProAgro Youth Project. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between unemployed youth and the tourism and hospitality sectors through an internship program. Our goal is to equip young people with the skills and experience necessary to transition smoothly into employment.

Why Join the ProAgro Youth Project?

The ProAgro Youth Project is more than just an internship—it’s a pathway to a career. Participants will gain hands-on experience in the dynamic fields of tourism and hospitality, working alongside industry professionals. Upon completion of the internship, participants will be in a strong position to secure employment with their host establishments.

Project Implementation Areas

The project will be rolled out across these districts:

  • Salima
  • Blantyre
  • Machinga (Liwonde)
  • Mangochi

What’s in It for You?

As a participant in the ProAgro Youth Project, you’ll receive:

  • Transportation Allowance: Covering your travel to and from the attachment location.
